Terms of service

These terms govern your use of dublin-stylehouse.com and any purchase you make from Dublin Stylehouse. By placing an order, you agree to them.

1. Who we are

2. Placing an order

Products shown on the site are an invitation to order, not a binding offer from us. When you place an order, you're making an offer to buy — we accept that offer, and a contract is formed, when we send you an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order, for example in the case of an obvious pricing error, unavailable stock, or suspected fraud — if we do, we'll let you know and refund any payment taken.

3. Prices and VAT

All prices are shown in euro (EUR) and include VAT at the applicable Irish rate (currently 23%). We may correct obvious pricing errors before an order is confirmed.

4. Payment

Available payment methods are shown at checkout and summarised on our Payment Methods page. Payment is taken when you place your order.

5. Delivery

See our Shipping & Delivery page for delivery areas, costs and estimated timeframes. Estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed delivery commitments unless we've expressly agreed otherwise with you.

6. Right of withdrawal and returns

You have a statutory right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving a reason, and we additionally offer a voluntary 30-day return window. Full details are on our Right of Withdrawal and Returns & Refunds pages.

7. Your rights if something's wrong

If goods are faulty, damaged, or not as described, your rights are protected under the Consumer Rights Act 2022, including remedies such as repair, replacement, price reduction or refund depending on the circumstances. Nothing in these terms limits those statutory rights.

8. Retention of title

Ownership of goods passes to you once we've received payment in full.

9. Our liability

We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that's a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our negligence, but we're not liable for losses that aren't foreseeable, or for business losses if you're using our products for a business purpose. This doesn't affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. If you're a consumer, this doesn't take away any protection you're entitled to under the mandatory laws of the country you live in.

11. Complaints and dispute resolution

If something's gone wrong, please contact us first at info@dublin-stylehouse.com so we can try to put it right. The EU's Online Dispute Resolution platform was discontinued in July 2025 and is no longer available; unresolved consumer disputes can be raised with the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (ccpc.ie).
